A Legacy Reforged
FeMAN Industries was built on a foundation of family, hard work, and respect for the people who make things with their hands. Our story began in 1989, when Barry’s Services started cleaning industrial gloves for workers across Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana. What began as a small family operation—my dad on the routes, my mom handling invoices, and me printing business cards in high school—quickly grew into a trusted name known for reliability and care.
We understood the value of every cleaned and repaired glove: each one meant protection for a worker, savings for a company, and less waste for the planet.
The Spirit of Iron
After decades working in procurement for major manufacturers—purchasing everything from iron castings to defense vehicle components—I found myself returning to what had always meant the most: the glove business that brought my family together.
That’s why FeMAN Industries was born. Pronounced “Ironman,” the name reflects both our roots and our mission. Fe is the chemical symbol for iron, and the workers we serve—men and women shaping iron, steel, and aluminum—are the true Ironmen of industry.
